Any thoughts or organized plans to use this as a platform to take the party into the APSRTC employees?
We need to make sure that we are here to fight for the people, but at the same time ensure that we aren't B-team of TDP as alleged by Sakshi/pro-YSRCP media.
Raised this issue only because it concerns the lives of APSRTC (55,628 employees & their families) and lakhs of people who use APSRTC services everyday.
Though it doesn't mean JSP's support will immediately fetch votes but the idea is to generate a good will among the people, which usually has a multiplier effect (word of mouth). This word of mouth by medical representatives, ration shop dealers etc (they would be at a loss, if public health system is strengthened or PDS is taken away) has worked against us in the previous elections. It's time we identify such actors and turn them towards us; people ultimately vote for those who they believe would do good to them (man is selfish by nature) irrespective of whether the candidate in the electoral fray is good or bad or corrupt etc.
9th June onwards - non cooperation by labour,
till 12th June - preparation for strike
13th onwards - strike by APSRTC Employees Union & affiliated unions
